Valentine Tahon

Valentine Tahon is a physiotherapist specializing in neuromuscular disorders, based at the Neuromuscular Reference Centre of Ghent University Hospital (UZ Gent), Belgium.

She obtained a Master’s degree in Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Sciences in 2014, with a specialization in paediatrics.

Since joining UZ Gent in 2014, Valentine has been dedicated to the care and management of both children and adults with neuromuscular diseases, with a particular focus on spinal muscular atrophy (SMA) and Duchenne muscular dystrophy (DMD), optimizing functional abilities and improving quality of life through individualized rehabilitation programs.

With over 10 years of experience in clinical research, she has been actively involved in clinical trials and rare diseases registry follow up.
