Rachel works clinically in the weekly Neuromuscular Clinic and a monthly Charcot-Marie-Tooth clinic at RCH. She is a skilled clinical evaluator and has worked on numerous industry-sponsored and researcher-initiated studies in paediatric neuromuscular diseases including CMT, DMD, SMA and other rare neurological disorders of childhood. Her research interests include gait and functional outcome measures, physical activity and community-based exercise programs for children and adolescents living with neuromuscular disease and disability more broadly. Rachel provides clinical education to undergraduate, post-graduate and community-based health professionals to increase the knowledge and understanding of the assessment and management of childhood-onset neuromuscular disease.
